Gamma Chapter of Theta Alpha at UNF

Hi everyone! This is my first semester at UNF, and in the beginning of the year I was looking forward to possibly joining a sorority. Many of you who attended Access last night are pondering the cause that they will give themselves to in 2009. Surely, Derrick is already asking if you know. Many causes deal with the remedy of specific social injustices (i.e. human trafficking, poverty, etc.). Could have been worse....

So, I don't know how many of you know, but after Wesley Tour at JU Tuesday night, Jaymie and I were in a pretty bad accident. We're ok - just some bumps and bruises. My poor, beautiful truck was considered totaled. We were in our neighborhood, and a car ran a stop sign. Something that has been weighing on my heart these past few weeks is the wonder at what it means to be a man of God. Accident at bus stop.

Ever wonder?

Missing everyone!

Trying to Find the Light in the Darkness

Counting my blessings and Praising God even in the midst of a hard times

Yesterday was my Birthday and I am very blessed to have reached another milestone. But this morning marked another milestone my car was stolen. I have had my car for two years and I have come to realize through the Crown financial class,that it wasn't my car after all it's God's. Sleep

I don't sleep a lot. Sleep is like another world to me. I live another life there. I'm stronger but it's much more than this world. Still I can handle what I confront there only because of my strength in Christ. So what is it like for those who don't have Christ? Probably really scary. Are you kidding me?!

For a reason I have yet to determine, my mind has lately been returning to the topic of protesters "for God." You know the ones - they hold signs that say things like "TURN OR BURN!" and "GOD HATES FAGS!" And I guess what strikes me as odd is they claim to be doing these things in Jesus' name.
